Recently we’ve been spending a lot of time with the Yamaha range of products so we’re going to be bringing you some in-depth reviews of their Digital Pianos, Keyboards, Synths and Workstations.

At first glance the number of products may appear a little overwhelming and confusing but with our handy guide you’ll soon get an idea of which product in the range would best suit your needs.

Yamaha have six main types of keyboard action that you can find across their various product ranges. Entry level keyboards come with just a lightweight action and their top end Digital Pianos have an actual acoustic hammer action, which we’ll talk about in-depth in a separate article.
