Nord have just announced the release of their fourth generation Stage Piano with some interesting new features added. Most notable is the expanded polyphony and seamless transitions feature, so that you can switch smoothly between sounds during a performance without an abrupt cutoff.
There are up to seven split points that also feature seamless transitions. The Numeric Pad update has been added for faster access to Programs and a range of filters for tweaking piano sounds for a customised feel.
Along with the Virtual Hammer Action Technology that was introduced with Piano 3, the Piano 4 is going to be a welcome addition to the Nord family. We’ll be bringing you details of it’s release date soon.
