Tomasz Zyrmont

Tomasz Zyrmont is a Polish jazz pianist, composer, and educator based in London, renowned for his dynamic performances and innovative compositions. He graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, and furthered his studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

Throughout his career, Zyrmont has graced prestigious venues across Europe and the United States, including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, the 606 Club, Boisdale of Canary Wharf, and the British Parliament in London. His participation in notable events such as the London Jazz Festival, East European Jazz Festival, Yamaha Music Live, and Wigmore Lates has solidified his reputation in the jazz community.

Zyrmont leads several ensembles, including the Tomasz Zyrmont Quartet, featuring prominent UK jazz musicians like saxophonist Sean Khan, double bassist Ben Hazleton and drummer Filippo Galli. This quartet showcases his original compositions alongside works by jazz legends, delivering captivating performances that resonate with audiences. His music has received airplay on various radio stations, including Jazz FM, Polish Radio London, Belgrade 202, Radio Jazz.FM and Near FM Dublin, reflecting his broad appeal and the universal resonance of his artistry.
