The Moog Werkstatt-Ø1 is a DIY analog synth kit that was designed for Moogfest 2014. During a two-day workshop 125 participants built these kits under the supervision of Moog engineers. Now this new classic is available in a non-soldering version. The Werkstatt-Ø1 is extremely simple to build but dont let that fool you as this little baby punches well above its weight. Werkstatt is designed to appeal to all ages – its an ideal first synth ideal for education/school and electronics teaching and equally ideal for a hardcore synthesist who intends to patch and sample it or open and modify it – expanding its capabilities.
